I was lucky enough to be asked to participate in a drawing workshop with the artist Janet Shaughnessy. Janet Shaughnessy’s work is currently being displayed in a joint show with Lorraine Fink at the Baron & Ellin Gordon Art Galleries. We worked from 9am-4pm on a single large scale drawing, working on the process of seeing a work to completion. We took a break for meditation and a break for lunch, but other than that we work work worked! I had a great time and Janet pushed me to try new things. (all photos taken by Heather Bryant)
